Welcome to Mace Flow SIX Level 2. The next Six Week Workout Program for Mace Flow. This course is the next level for anyone who has gone through Mace Flow SIX Level 1 and wants to learn more.
About Mace Flow SIX 2.
In six weeks you’re going expand your knowledge, skill, and physical capability using a steel mace or macebell. In this next level the goal is to introduce some of the more complex movements that one can do with a mace. The course is much bigger than Mace Flow SIX Level 1 and this is for good reason. Working up through the course structure has provided you with a really solid foundation for flowing with a macebell. This course is designed as a stand-alone course, although the tempo of the course is a bit much for someone who has never gone through SIX Level 1 before.
Mace Flow SIX Level 2 will take you through six weeks/stages with three workouts, which all work toward a final flow. Every week we will increase the complexity and this will involve new exercises, combinations, and flows. Through the course, you’ll build your skill with Mace Flow and work up to more complex movements like new pivots, lunges, swings, flips, grips and much more.
Benefits.
Mace Flow SIX 2 will greatly improve your skills with a mace. The course will take you to an advanced level of Mace Flow. It will build up coordination and skill in combination with the endurance and strength to swing a mace for a long time. The workouts are elaborate and intense and will challenge you. As you go through the course you’ll gain a deeper understanding of mobility and posture while performing static and dynamic exercises. What makes this course unique is its direct focus on single arm swings. Here you’ll learn all the skills that you’ve seen Harbert use in his complex flows. You’ll learn this through a specifically designed pathway that will unlock all of these skills in small steps.
Difficulty.
This six-week workout program is labeled advanced as it quickly dives deep into complex variations and flows. We highly recommend going through Mace Flow SIX first as you’ll gain the right amount of knowledge and experience with a steel mace to progress through this course fluidly. Aside from Level 1, we also recommend Mace Flow 201 as a prerequisite for this course. The 201 is great for mastering single arm swings and that will help with the more complex combinations and skills that are present in this course.
Throughout the weeks, the complexity will increase quite quickly. The course will challenge you, no matter how experienced you are. You will learn movements that you’ve never learned before, in a context in which you’ve never seen them before. This a unique chance and opportunity to enjoy the wonderful experience of skill mastery.
Length.
SIX says it all, six weeks or stages is what it should take minimally to go through this course. However, from other six-week courses, we know that some participants spend half a year on the course to master the material. It’s not easy material, so it will take a lot of repetition to master. Think of the program as six stages on which you can come back with different weighted/shaped clubs every time and learn something new.
Requirements.
All you need is a mace, we recommend a steel mace of 4-5kg. Why a steel mace and that weight? Well, that mace has a specific weight distribution that is perfect for the movements in this course. Some of the movements presented in this course might not work with other maces.
