Mace Flow Intermediate Workshop Italy

On Sunday the 28th of September 2025 head coach Harbert will teach a full day workshop on Mace Flow at Area 424 in Santa Marinella in Italy. This is your chance to learn an extensive and unique perspective on maces from one of the most experienced and knowledgable teachers in the world.

WHAT

During this workshop you’ll be introduced to intermediate concepts and movements from Mace Flow. You’re going to learn a comprehensive system, the Dutch Flow Method, to help you understand the mace in a complete sense. We’re going to dive deeper into mace material in this workshop. Single arm swings will be central throughout this workshop. You’ll have the opportunity to learn and be corrected in your technique. After this workshop you’ll have a good grasp of single arm techniques and how to connect them together in a flow.

FOR WHOM

This workshop is for practitioners who have some experience with the mace already. This can be through self practice, one of our courses, or a former workshop. The workshop is designed to start from a place where your front and back 360 are decent. This will allow us to move to single arm swings.

There will be a variety of maces available on the day of the workshop.

COACH

Harbert has been coaching groups and clients for over 9 years with the mace and clubs. He went to India seven times to discover the history of the mace and wooden clubs.

DETAILS

The workshop will start at 11:00 and will end at 18:00. Make sure to have a big breakfast. We’ll have a small break so you can eat something.

There will be another workshop on the 27th of September which will discuss the foundations of Mace Flow. This workshop is the perfect set up for the intermediate workshop.
