About Light Clubs SIX 2.

In six weeks you’re going to step up your game with Indian Clubs. This course is the next level on the path of becoming a master at swinging light clubs. In Level 1 we’ve opened up some complexity with light clubs. We worked on asynchronous swings and learned how to transition between synchronous and asynchronous. The foundation was really clear and every week build to the next. In Level 2 the goal is to broaden your perspective of what’s possible with new possibilities. We will heavily lean on the material you’ve learned in Level 1 and use that as a foundation to continue the path towards mastery. If you haven’t passed through Light Clubs SIX Level 1 this course will most likely be too complicated for you to follow. Light Clubs SIX 2 has a similar structure to SIX 1 and will take you through six weeks/stages with three workouts, which all work toward a final flow. Every week we will increase the complexity and this will involve new exercises, combinations, and flows. In this course you will learn new transitions, how to swing in Direction 2, how to strengthen your legs with Indian Clubs, a new wrist circle, and back and elbow circles. All of this using the Crossing and Parallel Direction both synchronous and asynchronous.

If you enjoyed the structure of Light Clubs SIX 1, you will love SIX 2. Light Clubs SIX 2 build on the foundation set in Level 1 and will expand your skill level. This means it’s a tailored program from improvement as you’re familiar with the structure and will have exactly the right skill set to start this course. How beautiful is that? You can use all the hours you’ve spend for Level 1 and use that immediately for SIX 2. You’ll gain all the now felt benefits that involves light club swinging, just like Level 1. Light club swinging is a difficult practice to master, and Level 1 has taught you why that is so. There’s so many variations possible with the main swings that it just takes time to master those foundations. Now you’ve learned that, we can expand the library of exercises and tricks you can do to improve your practice and make it more beautiful and complex. This course will give you the tools to make your training more fun and complex. To reach new heights for this art. You’ll absolutely love it!

Difficulty.

This six-week workout program is labeled intermediate and advanced. For some parts the complexity remains similar as Level 1, but now with new exercises. In other parts we’ll push it further and expand more on asynchronous swings, which you now by now are really challenging.  We highly recommend going through Level 1 first as you’ll gain the right amount of knowledge and experience with light clubs to progress through this course fluidly. Even if you’re really experienced we’d recommend you going through Level 1 first, just to set the foundations straight. Just like Level 1 the complexity will increase every week. Some parts will be stand-alone skills, and other will build on previously learned skills from either Level 1 or Level 2. The course will challenge you, no matter how experienced you are. You will learn movements that you’ve never learned before, in a context in which you’ve never seen them before. This a unique chance and opportunity to enjoy the wonderful experience of skill mastery.

Length.

SIX says it all, six weeks or stages is what it should take minimally to go through this course. However, from other six-week courses, we know that some participants spend half a year on the course to master the material. It’s not easy material, so it will take a lot of repetition to master. Think of the program as six stages on which you can come back with different weighted/shaped clubs every time and learn something new.

Requirements.

All you need is a pair of Light Clubs aka Indian Clubs and the internet to access and learn from this course. We would recommend wooden clubs with a weight of 0.5-1.2kg. Learning a new skill always works better with a lighter weight.
